Program Description

The mission of the Group Living Program is to support adults with developmental disabilities in a supportive home that focus on our individual’s quality of life - this often occurs in combination with promoting community access, therapeutic activities, facilitating social connections, and focusing on the individual’s abilities to be independent as possible.

A trauma-informed approach is utilized to strive for a safe, welcoming, and client-focused atmosphere within the homes to promote an environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring their abilities, learning social and daily living skills, and discovering coping strategies. Supported adults are referred to the program through PDD and have been identified as requiring staffing supports.
