Program Description
Our Community Group Care (CGC) Program provides safe, structured, and nurturing residential environments for children and youth. Our services are designed for children and youth with social, emotional, behavioral, medical, and developmental needs and are individually tailored to reflect each child’s unique strengths, goals, and circumstances. Rooted in trauma-informed and relationship-based practice, our homes support stability, healing, and growth while honoring each child’s individuality, culture, and lived experience.
Community Group Care is more than a placement—it is a purposeful, relational environment where children and youth are supported to develop a strong sense of safety, belonging, and identity. Alongside therapeutic and developmental support, we place a strong emphasis on celebrating the child in all aspects of their life, including educational achievements, personal interests, milestones, birthdays, holidays, and meaningful traditions. Cultural identity and cultural needs are actively recognized and woven into daily life, ensuring each child feels seen, valued, and connected to who they are, while building the skills and confidence needed to thrive within their families, communities, and broader society.
Our Community Group Care (CGC) Program operates across Northern Alberta and the Edmonton area, with 11 community-based homes throughout.
